Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions are between you and Parcelza ("Parcelza", "we", "us"). Parcelza is the legal name, registered business name, and trading name of the seller: a delivery-software business owned and operated by its proprietor in South Africa, operating the Parcelza platform.

Parcelza is the seller of the service and the party you are contracting with when you subscribe to or use the platform. You can reach us about these terms or your account through the support contact details on our site.

By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Parcelza is a subscription software platform that lets delivery businesses manage orders, dispatch drivers, track deliveries in real time, handle returns, and send customer notifications. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the limits of your selected plan.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you use Parcelza on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Interfere with the service's security, probe or scan it, or introduce malware.
  • Scrape the service or attempt to reverse engineer it.
  • Resell or redistribute the service, or circumvent plan limits or technical restrictions.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the data you enter (orders, customers, drivers). You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to collect and share your customers' contact details for delivery notifications.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, and Parcelza branding. These terms do not transfer any of our IP to you.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

8. Service level

We work hard to keep Parcelza available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your access ends, you may request an export of your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and disputes will be handled in South African courts.
